2012: how do I even begin?
When one leaves the blogosphere for like a year or two, one cannot expect readership to bounce back. BUT I write for me and you so even if you do not read my trivial words here, I am happy to be back online. I think school killed the blog. Ottawa killed the blog. The library killed the blog. FACEBOOK killed the blog (it still does).
And sometimes, I just like to talk one-on-one and believe it or not, I also like to be ALONE and on the downlow too 🙂
Sooooo I can’t really explain what I’ve been up to.
BRIEF LIST
–Master’s degree done in Public and Intl Affairs = govt work and international stuff basically: I focus on development, migration and cross-cultural issues/policies
–finally traveling some again whoot whoot! Sweden Japan Canada = it’s been a busy summer (research!)
–seeing amazing blessings in my life always: grants when God knows you need money (amen!); wonderful friends, quiet and party times (both are needed); new experiences, burgers, best sushi in the world & finally I’ve been on the bullet trains–damn cool!
–I can speak Japanese now! C’est tres tres difficile comme langue mais c’est cute et cool et nouveau! I kinda hate the kanji which are basically Chinese characters…so glad VNese has roman alphabet 🙂
–great jobs in Ottawa: CIDA in African region and Coast Guard ship policies, spoke french and ate good food too!
–diversity, sincerity, consistency: goals for life
All the above was done with the help of the Creator. I am forever thankful for my life and thank you for being a part of it.
Talk to me if you have time. Comments or skype etc = good stuff!
A bientot,
Cathy
