Swiss swag!
Check it out: after much ado and par-tay, I finally got my act together and got to the Swiss Embassy to apply for my work visa.
Well, I came outta there with a full bag of free Swiss swag. First impression: this country is rich!
The goodies include: 4 DVDS! = documentaries on Swiss life, diversity, environmental protection and direct democracy 🙂 Also I got TWO not one mouse pads and tons of brochures and the like.

Soooo isn’t the cap cool? A less cheesy tourist might leave that sucka at home but I’m bring it and wearing it out 🙂 All day and all night 🙂
OOOH LALALA it’s a great start to my move and so I say MERCI BEAUCOUP A L’AMBASSADE.
As if that weren’t enough, my visa will be ready tomorrow (such a quick return!) and although it’s a longer-term work visa, C’ETAIT GRATUIT! That’s right folks, my first perk from the UN is that I don’t have to pay for my visa! SWEET!!!!!
What is to come???!!!!! Maybe I should learn their anthem…..

tres difficile…ill stick to japanese & vnese for now….but ill get a few phrases in there AND i wanna brush up on a bit of svenska for my friend’s baby so she won’t think im too foreign! she’s such a cute swedish baby!
